New Blogger

This is a link to my new blog, it basically has all my previous posts on it. I had to change because I got a new gmail account and I couldn't link the new with the old.

I'm back with more crafts!

I am finally back into the swing of things and I have many plans for crafts!!!
This is what I did for above Von's crib...

I started out with some wood letters I bought at AC Moore.

And then some coordinating scrapbook paper and Modge Podge.

I used a crafting knife to cut the scrapbook paper in the shape of the letters and then modge podged them onto the wooden letters. I added decorations with a hot glue gun.

This was a cute and simple project I did to add some personalization to Von's room!!!

There aren't any posts lately because of school and now I have pregnancy sickness. I am finally getting better and I will at some point continue to make my crafts!!

Button Monograms!!

I am finally finished with my monogram project!!! I might add a few extra button touches on the canvases without a monogram to tie it all together.

Any project I do from now on will take a while to finish, school has taken up most of my time now.

Pillows!!

Here are the pillows I've been working on!

All I did was cut out the fabric into two same size pieces and place one on top of the other with the pattern on the inside. Then I measured and drew guidelines for sewing.

Now start sewing on the dotted line!

Leave a gap on one side so you can reverse the fabric and put in the stuffing.

Once I stuffed it to my liking I hand sewed the gap and voila!!
These pillows were too easy :P
